For the December meeting we are having a social event at the Hanky Panky restaurant in Chester with a pancake meal followed by a talk and slide show by Simon Brown and Diana Wilderspin Jones of their cycle adventure to Istanbul. Simon and his wife Diana cycled from Chester to Istanbul over a three month period in the early summer of this year. The restaurant limits the attendees to about forty people so we are issuing tickets to control the numbers attending. If you are interested in coming along then contact Arnold or Graham (07445989736, firstname.lastname@example.org) to obtain a ticket. The tickets will be sold for £2 to provide an assurance for the restaurant that the wages of staff will be covered. The plan for the night is to eat from 6.30 – 7.30 with the talk at 8pm, followed by socializing. If you do not regularly attend Transition meetings it would be great to see you.
The Hanky Panky restaurant is at 20, Commonhall Street (off Upper Bridge Street) CH1 2BJ
