About Limewood Community Orchard
Lime Wood Community Orchard was created to offer a green, welcoming space that supports both the local community and the environment.
Nestled in a quiet corner of Lime Wood Fields Park, just off Kingsway, the orchard was planted two years ago and will eventually yield a delicious mix of apples, pears, plums, cherries, and quinces for everyone to enjoy.
Cared for by a dedicated group of local volunteers, the orchard is now growing into more than just a collection of fruit trees.
Plans are underway to establish a native wildflower meadow around the trees, helping to boost biodiversity and support local wildlife.
